Mark B. Logan, MPA, NIGP-CPP, CPPO, C.P.M., CPPB, A.P.P.

Mark B. Logan is a servant leader and procurement subject matter expert (SME) with more than 25 years of experience and expertise in complex procurement and contract management.

Some of the areas Mark has been responsible for include procurement (aka, purchasing), contracting, public works (i.e, construction), and warehouse operations.

Mark holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Employer-Employee Relations from CSU, Long Beach at the Graduate Center for Public Policy and Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance (specifically, managerial finance and investments), and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration.

Mark has also earned the professional designations of NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP), Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), and Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.). These esteemed designations demonstrate that Mark has achieved a high standard of knowledge, competency, and skill in the public and private procurement profession.

A few of the professional groups and associations that Mark is a current member of include CAPPO, NIGP, ISM, and NCMA. Some leadership contributions to the public procurement profession include serving on the UPPCC Board of Examiners as a public procurement SME, Board Member for the NIGP California chapter, past co-chair for SCCCPA, providing various public procurement presentations and workshops, and serving on the FCCC CollegeBuys Advisory Group as a procurement SME.

Mark resides in Orange County, California with his lovely wife and family, two golden retriever “furbabies,” and is a proud “grampa” of three beautiful granddaughters.
