Last week, I went out for lunch with a friend
just a normal day.
Suddenly, my phone blew up.
LinkedIn notifications everywhere.
Honestly, I couldnโt believe it.
Tom Mills had included me in his
โTop 9 profiles to follow on LinkedIn.โ
OH MY GOSH!
Within hours, my followers jumped from 5,600 to over 7,100.
Nearly 800 new faces in 24 hours.
For a modest account like mine, it was wild!
If you followed, messaged, or connected, thank you!
Iโm still catching up (and still on holiday!),
but your support means more than you know.
This boost gave me such a lift.
It made me want to keep showing up,
even on the tough days.
Now I want to pay it forward.
Now itโs my turn to keep the chain going.
Here are my own Top 9
All under 10K followers,
All sharing real value.
All ready for a little more spotlight.
Of course, there are many bigger names I admire too
(you already know them!).
But today, I want to cheer for the smaller accounts,
the ones making a difference,
even if the "algo" isnโt helping.
Meet my picks:
Urszula Woronowicz Relatable, human, and sharp with practical negotiation insights.
Mark B. Logan, MPA, NIGP-CPP, CPPO, C.P.M., CPPB, A.P.P. Expert tips and dry humor; you learn and smile with every post.
Jose Bustillo People-first leadership, authentic growth, and community in every word.
Annalisha Noel, MCIPS. Pure energy and vision. Building a vibrant community at The Procurement Plug
Richa Singh. Future-ready skills and insights. Her โProcurement Horizonsโ newsletter is gold, and the podcast is a must.
Antoine Sauvageot Smart strategies, honest cross-border lessons, and a fresh take on indirect procurement. โข Luke Tomlinson Data, wit, and killer graphs. Makes complex topics clear and fun.
