That’s how I feel about Mark B. Logan, MPA, NIGP-CPP, CPPO, C.P.M., CPPB, A.P.P.!
Mark & I first connected through LinkedIn, sharing a common passion for procurement, leadership & moving this profession forward!
Then we finally got the opportunity to meet in person at NIGP Forum 2025 in Denver, Colorado.
This year, at NIGP Forum in Columbus, Ohio, we got to hang out again, catch up, talk procurement, talk leadership & simply enjoy spending some time together. (Never enough time this Forum!)
Those moments are what make Forum special for me!
Mark is someone I respected before I ever met him in person! Now, after getting to know him better, I respect him even more!
I like to call him the man, the myth, the legend — but behind that phrase is someone who has spent decades learning, leading, teaching, training, mentoring & giving back to our profession!
He doesn’t just talk about Procurement Leadership! He lives it!
Mark is a leader, teacher, trainer, mentor, content creator & role model! More importantly to me, he has become someone I’m proud to call a friend!
There are people you meet during your career who make you better simply because you know them, learn from them & have the opportunity to exchange ideas with them!
Mark is one of those people for me!
I’m grateful LinkedIn brought our paths together, grateful NIGP Forum gave us the opportunity to turn an online connection into a real friendship & grateful for everything Mark continues to contribute to procurement professionals everywhere!
